The very first version of this Scooter site... actually, my very first site ever. A little site among an ocean of other quality sites, at that time called SCOOTER CZ, uploaded on mujweb.cz with only 10MB of space. Throughout the year minor graphic changes were applied and the name was changed to SCOOTER SHOW...

The idea of creating this site was only my passion to have a site, but also because of my growing interest in Scooter. I was searching for information and interesting stuff I was impatient to tell the others. With more visitor the site grew, even it was still only the site attempt...

As the other Scooter sites begun to be outdated, SCOOTER SHOW grew to the success. At that time one of the fans became with an offer of creating a new design. However, creating of the design took so long that it has never really been done. Re-launch was planned on 1. 1. 2000, but it was postponed many times. Eventhough the site obtained new name - SCOOTER.FAN-PAGE.COM and became the greatest Scooter site in the Czech republic. With more than a year on-line it remained the only one up-to-date.

With SCOOTER.FAN-PAGE.COM launch all counters were set to zero. This time is to be meant as the real beginning of what later become known as SCOOTERTECHNO.INFO...

The time has come to change the design again. So it was colored to red, no other major changes were made. This design was not made by the web designer of the original SCOOTER.FAN-PAGE.COM...

The period of great changes. The old SCOOTER.FAN-PAGE.COM asked for a change! So shortly after the concert in Vizovice, CZ, a new site called SCOOTERNATION.TK was launched. Literally brand new site: new design, new layout, new sections, new information and new possibilities. The site was given 50MB of space on webzdrama.cz. During two years the desing was slightly changed according to the current album. More radical change was made in 2004 when the layout remained unchanged, however the design change was major. By that time the site contained the largest discography section and the largest gallery section on the czech internet. The most important element was adding a discussion shoutbox to the site...

After two years, in September 2004, the design was about to change again. Main theme was the front cover of the current album The Stadium Techno Experience, submenus, background sounds and many other things were changed. Most of the sections were enlarged, some were newly created. The site's nicknamed was AIII LIKE IT LOUD.

After the release of the album Mind The Gap the main theme was exchanged from The Stadium Techno Experience to Mind The Gap. The discography section was finished - still the largest on the czech internet - with nothing stolen from other fan sites!

One (Always Hardcore) design - design changes were originally planned to be made only with a release of a new album, however Mind The Gap design was too sad and simple, so it was exchanged to One (Always Hardcore) single cover design.

I don't even know why but I felt for another design change. It had become traditional for scooternation, when all the major sections are remodeled to the new design, I change it immediately again. So scooternation vol. 2 was made. It was whole blue designed, the layout was party similar to the one of the first site version. With three frames - top frame with the options, left part of the main screen contained sub menus, the right part was used for viewing of selected. The bottom frame contained mixer, countdown and banners. This was the most complex site with a nearly identical English version. Also first attempt to optimize the size was carried out.

The interesting fact might be that the main background was taken from the Durex condoms site ;-)

Scooternation vol. 2 was on-line since the end of the year 2005. I felt for another design change, but mainly because I became back from the stay at the British university, I had to pass countless of exams at my university and I had to finish a thesis, there was not much time left for the site. No time, no mood, the site was temporarily down.

I was not able not to focus on the site. Despite it was not on-line, I worked on a new design and planned re-launch. I made plenty of concepts, none of them was good enough or easy enough to be made (one of them was inspired by Madonna's site). As the Who's Got The Last Laugh Now? Tour was approaching, it was necessary to re-launch the site. In order to create anything fast and easy-to-make, a scooternation tour blog - containig tour diary, both official and unofficial photos, tracklist a more - was made. However, this was not that scooternation it used to be!

Using tour blog design and inspired by the MTV site, SN3 was launched. Well, only Home, News, partly Discopgrahy, Gallery, Lyrics and Tours section was made. The aim of the site was to be as easy as possible, fast, well-arranged and quick to update. Each section was planned to be in different color with one WGTLLN? tour photo in the top frame. It was also meant to be optimized for higher resolution than 1024x768.

I'd say it was quite fine, however my mood went down again as so was my meaning about the design. As I refused to continue finishing other section, the site was closed in order to remodel it. I'd say it had the shortest life of all the designs.

Suddenly I was back on the track with a new taste! Brand new design... do you think it's similar to Sensation White site, huh? Similarly to Aiii Like It Loud site concept, only top menu was moved to the bottom of the site, top frame contained site logo and countdown. The middle frame was used for submenus and viewing.

With the design it wasn't "as easiest as possible" site anymore, anyway, it was still pretty fast in loading. The site was optimalized for resolution 1280x800, however, 1024x768 was enough to view the site correctly, both with IE and Mozilla Firefox.

The aim of the site was to be popular among fans and to provide unique information, photos, reports and more (well, this is nothing new, this has always been the aim of the site), but it was also meant to be completed, meaning with no more stuff to add in both Czech and English version.

Shortly before the end of the year another design was made. Actually it wasn't really new, it was more a remake of the previous version in order to fix some bugs and trouble shootings. Main menu was moved back to the top frame, the rest remained unchanged, only white color was replaced with black, which made the site look more different that it really looked. Submenus were moved from the left frame to the frame below the top one, which made a larger viewing area.

From scooternation.tk to scootertechno.info!
To acquire a better accessibility and to higher the quality, the old domain scooternation.tk, over packed with commercials, was abandoned and a new one was established. For the first time in a history, the site runs on a paid server, including new own domain scootertechno.info.

At the same time the design has been updated again. The site is now more complex, arranged and colorful. To acquire larger main screen, the lower frame was deleted. All important control elements, including main and sub menu, were moved to a top part of the site.

The site runs in a full gallop, more and more information and photos are coming. And there's no time to chill, there's still a lot of stuff out there!

BTW, Posse Grill Party Vol. 2 takes place in this year.

Both Jumping All Over The World album, single and tour are conquering the world, so even STi changed itself to the Jumping All Over The World visage. Similarly to the previous site version, each section is in its own color, but the main theme is now portraited by the current tour photos.

The year 2008 can be pronounce the most successful for Scooter and so for STi.

Posse Grill Party, the 3rd in a row, takes place also this year.

The year 2009 comes up with a brand new site design - a Carbon style. The name Carbon was chosen because the whole design was set during playing the Need For Speed Carbon. Besides, first section made - author - have the similar colors.

Major change was, as mentioned above, the design. "Live design" was changed to "videoclips design", where print screens from the videoclips became the main theme. Main menu and sub menus tables were replaced by the drop down menus. Moreover, the site has become bilingual. Czech and English versions were designed to be both viewed at once - mainly because the English version was permanently outdated.

Will the fourth Posse Grill Party take place even this year?

A 2010 UK design nicknamed X later turned into the official site design. In a brand new "street style" and top-down layout for faster and easier orientation as both the submenu links and bookmarks are now placed directly on the main index site.

Among other slight changes mainly biography, discography and projects sections were reworked in order to be more easy to work with.

See the artworks of the original design before it was scaled down to fixed width and the bookmarks content changed. Also the background is a little bit different to the final one.

2005 unused design template

I don't remember exactly when, but perhaps before scooternation vol. 2 there was an attempt to change the design according to the photos above. The main theme were characteristic places all over the world, the layout was inspired by godskitchen.co.uk. This design was also made in a beta version, not only as just a drawing, however it was never officially published. But if you look carefully, you can see different background picture for every section. Despite the design was never published, this idea has later been used.
