PRAGUE '05
- concert report -

We were allowed to enter the hall at 6PM, however we entered the floor itself at 7.30PM. Only 30 more minutes to go. Right on time Infinity band began! Shall I say more? They played only 4 or 5 songs, so they were easy to stand. They were quite good anyway, songstress and 4 dancers, however people in the hall did not appreciate their gig (count out the crowd singing Maria (I Like It Loud) or One (Always Hardcore) refrain). From my point of view they were the best support act so far.

30 minutes after they finished with their show the lights in the hall went out and We Like It Loud Tour Intro began. Rick and Jay entered the floor followed by H.P., pyro effects burst out and Scooter started Maria (I Like It Loud). People in the hall were so loud that I could not even hear H.P. singing. Well, watching is good enough though.

After wicked Maria (I Like It Loud) introduced H.P. themselves with "Dobrý večer, Praho! Jak se máš?" (Good evening, Prague! How are you doing?) and started Weekend!, I'm Raving, Habanera (but without Aiii Shot The DJ lyrics this time), Call Me Mañana (even Jay Frog is singing), No Fate, a little bit of disco with Shake That!. This tune sounds really wicked, dancers are shaking their bottoms :-) How Much Is The Fish?, Nessaja. With Faster Harder Scooter every single one sings together with H.P., even Rick sings whole verse (even he made a lyrical mistake so H.P. had to finish it). And this was it, One (Always Hardcore) live for the very first time. Brilliant, so powerful!

After One (Always Hardcore) they said "Bye, bye" and went away. The crowd was hysterically yelling Scooter back. Sitting people started to stamp, making strange loud noise! So soon after they returned back on the floor. "Switch off the lights...", the hall went dark and silent, "...and close your eyes, chilli bow, chilli bow, chilli bow, FIRRREEE!!!" Stream of sparkles went out from the neck of H.P.'s guitar as he was screaming towards the crowd. With every Fire word two giant green flames went on (roasting people in the first row). After Fire the guys came with Jigga Jigga!. Rick is smashing the keyboard like a maniac, pyros exploding, it is so huge, even H.P. made lyrical mistakes (flipped the refrains of verse one and verse two). Wicked!

Jigga Jigga! finish and people in the hall calmed down a little bit. H.P. asked us: "You want some more?". People whispers (yeah, wonderful knowledge of English), so he had to ask once again: "YOU WANT SOME MORE?". Finally, massive shout in response. Move Your Ass!

And this song finished up the show. Jay threw his towel into the crowd causing a riot among the fans. So I could not concentrate on nothing as people around me were fighting. But friends of mine told me Scooter's last words: "YOU ARE FUCKING GREAT!"

Yeah, it was superb!!! Scooter are the best...

Now let me talk about the minuses as well. Again and again, organization. This time is was really poor. Security check was useless, no direction signs inside the hall, causing people running around like the fools. Thanks God there was an information stall.

But the worst was still to come. Pure perfection. The doors leading to the floor itself were still closed, blocked by three dumb but rough-looking morons. After 1 and half hour, during which many people get drunk, they finally opened the door. Towards the crowd, causing huge overcrowding and pushing the people through the hall open door, security guys fell down and other people with them, as the corridor behind the doors was not enlighten.

And again again, cameras. Why they do not allow taking the pictures inside the hall. We were not allowed to get in with cameras, but we were allowed to use them inside!!! Oh, my...
Organizing agency (agencies) could rethink their behavior towards people. Better and more polite and organized behavior could raise the level!

- afterparty report -

Yes, yes, yes! This was better than the concert itself. And I'm not talking about afterparty in Exit club, where were about 40 people and they played Scooter songs all night long, but about afterparty in Duplex club, where were Scooter themselves!

Can you imagine that feelings, when Jay Frog stands up and heads towards you, shakes you hand, you take pictures with him and give him a booklet to autography. And later you catch also Rick and H.P? Miracle!

Jay:
Really cool and nice guy. He looked a bit bo999999 so he came to us, autographed a booklet, took a pictures with us, shook our hands etc. We were talking a lot, as he came twice to talk. He told us, that:
+ they are working on a new stuff, hoping it will be successful
+ they received a gold award for Mind The Gap before the concert
+ he was surprised when I told him that we can get only international edition with missing stuff here in CZ
+ he asked me where I knew Chris and Christiane from

Rick:
Came to talk little bit later after Jay. He is cool and nice as Jay is. He shook our hands, autographed the booklet (even asked one of the bodyguards for silver pen), took the photos with us etc. I also asked hit to give the booklet to H.P. and he did it! How nice, thanks man. So I invited him for a beer one day :-)
+ told me he knew my site!

H.P.:
H.P. was partying hard. Rick left rather early, Jay was there with his girlfriend and H.P. was left surround be a bunch of girls (well, whores...?), smoked a lot, drank and danced. One of the girls tried to undress his shirt, but he was not willing to do so. But later he was passing by us, when he saw us with camera, he made a pose. On his way back I caught his and asked him for a photos. He even told Sandra to make one more pic as he saw there first one will not be OK. Cool!

Yeah, it was really great evening, Scooter were nice and friendly. I was pleased. And I can proudly say, we are the best fans of the best band in the world!
