PRAGUE '99
The whole show began with Last Warning intro followed up by actual single at that time, which was Call Me Mañana. They played most of their single releases until that time. I am 100% sure they played Hyper Hyper, Back In The U.K., We Are The Greatest, No Fate, Expecting More From Ratty and Fire, besides Call Me Mañana and other single releases. Some people also say, that before Last Warning intro we could hear Habibi Halua (We Bring To Noise album intro, but the album was not released at that time)!
PRAGUE '99 This was my very first Scooter concert (beside BRAVO Super Show, but it was not only Scooter concert) so I was really looking forward to it. My mood was wonderful, only Scooter were in my mind. So I was a bit disappointed when I arrived in front of the hall. Tovární Hala in Karlín looks like abandoned fabric, loud sound of Scooter would probably cause a total destruction of the whole building (good idea to bring Scooter into this hall, they would probably flee if they would see it). Fortunately, there was a poster, one poster, on the wall telling as they relocate the show. My thanks go to a taxi driver who drove as to the new location just in time. By public transport I would probably arrived after the show. Back in '99 I was not a mature Scooter fan, so I was very impatient waiting until 9PM, when Last Warning finally started. Lights went out and the stage was covered in fog. Rick and Axel arrived their keyboard post. Right behind them H.P. jumped on the stage and started wonderful show with actual single Call Me Manana. The show was more than 1 and half hour long and Scooter play hits such as How Much Is The Fish?, Break It Up, I'm Raving, No Fate, Let Me Be Your Valentine, No Fate, Back In The UK (woow, H.P. had to change Ferris's name to Axel's), Eyes Without A Face, The Age Of Love or We Are The Greatest or Frequent Traveller (they don't play instrumental tracks any more). A then they left... But, no Scooter without a bonus. They returned back on the floor with Fire! But what to do with guitar after the song? Smash it! H.P. smashed it!!! The last song was legendary Hyper Hyper, which ended up whole show. This was it, see you next year... BTW, the hall where Scooter played was dismantled in 2006. |
