FERRIS BUELLER
Nowadays Ferris Bueller works as an author and producer for NuTurn. He focuses mostly on music for TV stations.
He got his name Ferris Bueller for the film "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" named by his schoolmates because of his lazy behavior in school. So the first step for a pop star was made... the pseudonym. At the beginning of the techno era in the early 90's Ferris started DJing in different clubs. Together with H.P. Baxxter, his older cousin and friend, he went to several techno parties and rave events. Influenced by this new energetic music style Ferris and H.P. had the idea to produce techno tracks on their own so they hooked up with Rick Jordan and found Scooter. As a member of Scooter Ferris received several gold and platinum awards in different European countries and remixes stars like Prince, Holly Johnson and Adeeva among others. They played shows in nearly every country in Europe and they have been one of the first German bands to play live in Israel and Russia. In 1998 Ferris left the band to follow his own musical path and to take a break from the exhausting 4 years with the band. Ferris released two pop orientated singles Girl and Heaven in 1999. But he felt not happy with that kind of music on stage. In the year 2000 he met his current partner Kai Panschow and started to write and produce techno again. He felt a refreshing relief... ...he was still in love with that kind of music! |
